I was reading that more as he would view the Manny as a threat to his marriage. I'm really skeeved by the other interpretation.

The fact that they're not bringing the child home to a house filled with Emmys from their work on The Americans is the only disappointing thing.
So I read the linked article from Charleston Scene and it mentions that abortions can be performed if there’s a fetal anomaly or if the life of the mother is at risk. A doctor mentioned that the wording may make it too narrow to determine what fetal abnormalities or diseases would qualify under the law.
Like the nickname "Shrillary." Glad we went with the most misogynist play on words we could, everyone!
That’s awesome. I have been trying to find a midwife clinic/OB-GYN practice with midwives in Westchester County. When I was first pregnant and looking for something closer to home, the only midwives I found only did home births. And unfortunately the practice I went to doesn’t do well-woman care. Best of luck to you…
I went to a CNM practice in NY for the recent birth of my baby Snark, and it was the best decision I made. The hospital I delivered at has a birthing center, and the plan was to deliver there, knowing we had very quick access to the Labor and Delivery floor (or OR) if anything went south. My practice had 5 different…
So, obscene voter ID laws which disproportionally affect Democratic voters = good. Restoring voting access to anticipated Democrats = bad. Got it.
On making his daughter his surrogate wife, my husband and I were just talking about the Cruz/Fiorina “ticket” and I threw out the idea that Trump will name Ivanka as his VP.
My father-in-law has shared his belief that all immigrants should learn English but has also told stories of his grandmother, who immigrated from Italy, that spoke of their deep communication barrier, as she barely spoke any English. We have a pretty good relationship all around, so I haven't pointed out this…
Thanks, Obama!
I'm wondering the same thing. I understand if at first, you might be skeptical of his sincerity, but he has been very consistent and has shown that he's trying to educate himself and use his privilege to raise awareness so ... fuck this guy? I don't get it.
Yes. Especially the first season. The second season was a little hard for me to get through (and apparently I’m not the only one, as it wasn’t picked up for a third season).
She was in Inglorious Basterds and the fantastic FX show The Bridge.
I have such a conflict with Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. I love that a musical (!) is on network television, and I love that the lead actress is a normal-sized woman. But I just have such a hard, hard time with cringe/confrontation plots that it makes me physically uncomfortable to watch the show. There are multiple episodes…
I’d strongly encourage you to give it a try. It’s funny as hell, and very sweet. It’s also oddly remarkably grounded for a telenovela.
Yeah, this is great, but are we going to get a Magary-penned Wokest Baes or not?
Emma’s time with Deadspin is definitely helping with this.
Plus, the only reason the film was made was because Rudy harassed it into production (at least he's consistent). http://www.cracked.com/article_16478_…
To add to that anecdote, I have three brothers (all full siblings, three separate pregnancies). The oldest is very rough and tough and was a football player through college, the second is straight but much more sensitive, and the youngest is gay.
I always thought it was weird that people used their desire to “have a beer with” W as a reason to vote for him. The guy’s a recovering alcoholic! You shouldn’t want to have a beer with him! That’s disrespectful and enabling.
