they can ban you for that ..... putting you in the cheater pool.

it is ... ps4 and xbox are vulnerable to disconnect flag long offline play flag. at the bare minimum, as well as shutting the game off while its on (like alt f4 on pc) will all flag you and you will get banned regardless of your attempts to fix it.

sadly there are reports that if you decide to then go online after lots of offline progress you get flagged so I hope you never want to pvp or co-op with a friend ... you will likely get banned when you connect.

I TLDR :: quite preferred getting owned every 6 hours by a cheater and being able to play with my friends, and if I was a cheater wouldn’t I be a much higher winrate in pvp than like 1/20 : / fromsoft you make no sense to me.

the main reason this is such a big deal is that before the softbans, most players encountered maybe one cheater out of 30 pvp’s and most of those cheaters just illegitimately won the player dusted themselves off go their souls and life went on ... in order to fix this 1/30 ish not so bad encounter rate from soft…

heavy weapons don’t really need poise ... they have super armor in certain moves is arguably better in some cases... and the poise system is hidden in the game they may enable it later. while "sorcery" alone may be weak. pyromancy is strong and builds on some of the same stats as sorcery I have 2-3 shot people with…

the illegitimate error message is effecting console players too. some before they even make a character.
