I’ve always had the impression that she wants it over because she gets harassed by his defenders everytime it’s brought up. And her name is back in the public eye so she’s seen as a victim all over again.

The Audible version read by Lindsay Crouse is very well performed as well. Well worth a listen, and not too long. It’s as uncomfortable as one would expect.
