I know many who live in houses divided by the turkey/ham war.

LIES. FALSEHOODS. I was sent into Target for some gift wrap for a work thing and LO AND BEHOLD. There was a whole wall in the back of Christmas lights, there were Christmas outfits for dogs AND there were already ornaments.

I was at Target this weekend and was astounded that the Halloween section was actually still mostly Halloween with a little generic “fall” thrown in and not 90% Christmas like it has been in past years by this point in the calendar. Hurrah Target! Give Thanksgiving the due it deserves. Let Halloween shine!

Ummm this is true about the Catholics tho. That’s the whole point about “Humanae Vitae” ghostwritten by John Paul II - the only point of sex is not to obstruct God’s holy life-giving seed. You have to be open to conception every fucking time. This is why they hate birth control as well as abortion. That’s why they

“antisemitism amuses me!”

She “stars” on one of the most misogynistic shows on TV.

“Let’s generalize about men.” Except, of course, all gay men, who are awesome.

Sorry to sound unsympathetic, but toughen up. Women need to bitch sometimes.

Oh, no, if ever there was a show that wouldn’t throw women under the bus it’s this one.

This song is pretty on par for the general theme of the show and the musical numbers they tend to do. Its poking fun at a sitcom/romcom format and making a sly comment about generalizations. It’s both. Rachel Bloom is a smart and savvy type person.

Dude, this song is making fun of casual misandry. It paints generalizing men in such a bad light that other commenters are accusing it of being misogynist or on the side of rape culture.

Yeah did you actually watch the video? That’s not what it’s about, at all.

I think it’s aimed primarily at the conventions of shows and movies like this. There always seems to be a scene (especially in older romantic comedies), in which a group of women get drunk and, well, generalize about men. This show has always taken aim as tropes (rushing to the airport to stop a loved one from moving,

It’s either just a harmless fluff piece about bitching with your friends, or:

Please don’t stop this. I pretty much read the article and comments just to get to this.

It looks like a television test pattern by Estee Lauder

“Designers, your final challenge will be to take Megyn Kelly’s color chart and create a wearable avant-garde look, suitable for meeting to discuss her show’s cancellation with NBC executives. This is a one day challenge, as she’ll be needing the outfit by next week.”

Oops, I caught a Nazi!

I’d like to point out, and I’m sure I’m not the only one to notice, that six out of the twelve shown articles on mobile (I’m on an iPhone 5) are about rape or other forms of sexual misconduct.

My stomach was dropping the whole time I read this. I’m so glad she got away from him. I have no doubt that he would have raped her if he had a better chance to do so.
