I would adopt an older (at least a year/ out of kitten stage) from a place that personality tests their kitties. Very chill, amazing, laid back cats do exist.

My husband and our heeler are soulmates. I accept being the second love of his life.
That seems...easy? I’m due with my first soon and about shit when I saw what baby food costs. I have a ninja I got as a gift that I never use but should do the job.
Ugh Luke Bryan *string of eyeroll/gag emojis*
especially to random strangers on the Internet, lol. You’re good!
Yep. I strongly approve of his message, and disapprove of the group he chose to partner with.
Yeah, it does sound a lot like Cushings. I have run the cortisol:creatinine before but find that I usually end up needing another test to confirm; typically I do a dexamethasone suppression test but an ACTH stim is fine too. It’s a frustrating disease, sorry your pup is having problems
It can be somewhat elusive to confirm on laboratory tests, but if your pet has the classic symptoms (eats a lot, drinks a lot, pees a lot, potbellied, isn’t diabetic/kidney failure/etc) cushings is very likely. What tests did they do previously and what are they doing now?
I see what you’re saying, but all of that is again just a reason to check the law first. Have you seen entrance requirements for Hawaii? If you don’t complete it extremely thorough checklist, your pet will be quarantined for 6 months.
THIS. There are rules for very important reasons, like keeping your own animals safe. I’m a vet and part of my job is making sure pets are approved to travel, which all my regular people clients are perfectly happy to do, so this really grinds my gears
I agree. I live in the Midwest/Plains (aka trump country), and I see it all the time. It was definitely “mainstreamed” in the 70s/80s by a lot of people who like to think of themselves as “rebels” because it sounds cool.
Fortunately I have some very honest friends who are parents who gave us the heads up about bringing baby home - and the physical postpartum toll. Nothing probably really prepares you for actually living it, but it was good to know. I’m also not a “baby person” per se, and already prone to anxiety, so I’ve got…
I’m due in three weeks and this week’s news has been extra horrifying. Thank you for this.
So I just creeped through your replies bc the ONLY person I told about that dream IRL was my little sister. I’m pretty sure you’re not her now, haha
seriously, so we can’t suspend reality for this one thing! Ugh
Hey Hemsworth is also my favorite Chris for dream related reasons! In mine he was in a **sexy** barn with just the Thor hair, boots, cape, and *hammer* and I almost fucked him but didn’t because I’m married. I still hate my subconcious for that.
Do you mind expanding on that? I’m about to be a first time parent and struggled with that decision a lot. Just curious about the factors involved and based on the stars on your comment, it seems pretty commen
this made me laugh a lot harder than it perhaps should have. Bravo
My German, Czech, and Norwegian ancestors didn’t speak a damn word of English when they came over in the 1850s either.
Yeah, but also, they’re free over the air. Even for netflix/hulu/etc you need adequate internet service, which is hard to get in some areas and is minimum $50/mo around here. it would it be great for these networks to just do better
