I tear up at weirdest shit; the ending nearly got me, i have no idea why, i just found it so beautifull and so sad. Perhaps seeing a long and storied life come to a close, i don't know.

Not really, i thought the implication was that the technical boy got them caught by the police so Mr World could get in a room with Wednesday.
So, um, Pearl is having a complete breakdown now, right? I mean, they would all be understandably distraught about this but im kind of imagining pearl right now curled in a fetal position in the corner or something.
"The Japanese had a horror of things like cheese or butter, dairy products were not a part of their diet. But from Westerners who loved it, the Japanese said they could smell it on their skin, and it repulsed them. It might have been "butter eaters" actually."
When they were carrying the new sign out there's a moment where she looks like she has a bruce campbell chin. It's terrifying.
Going off topic here; but if you want an intergalactic odyssey with Star Trek-esque space politics and moral quanderies but with SU's humanity and warmth i would suggest checking out Becky Chambers wayfarers series of novels. Yeah you have to read, but they're really good.
I'll agree that Zarkon and Haggar, heck the entire Galra as a whole, are in some dire need of depth; but i really, really liked the last two eps; the fact that the paladins plan actually worked, the sense of achievement after spending most of the season running from Zarkon and all that buildup with the paladins going…
Or Fury. I loved the movie but it's treatment of it's (two) female characters were problematic to say the least.
I like Mantis's look; but something about the eyes, either the CGI or makeup they used, creeps me out. I'm getting an uncany valley vibe from her.
This is more about the series in general, but what i love most about Steven's character is how he shows boys that there's nothing wrong with being an emotionally cognizant, caring and sensitive individual. Men these days need not be emotionless lumps anymore, or at least i hope to see that in a couple generations time.
This episode made me realize (and i'm probably late to the party here) that Bob has a "pretentious artist" side to him. But with burgers. Like he legitamately views it as an art form. He won't necissarily get upset if people don't like his burgers, in fact he seems pleasantly surprised when they do; but he wants them…
When it comes to making fun of specific goups of people, i think it's important that the subject be something they actually have agency over. As Wade pointed out; making fun of black people just because they're black doesn't really work, because no one gets to choose what race they're born into, but making fun of…
Mrs poole is quickly becoming my favourite villain on TV; she's so affable in her public persona, like an eccentric aunt; but her real self is so twisted and evil. I also like how they're implying she's much, much older than she appears; what with the way she talks about "the old times" and "old gods" and that…
I might be misremembering; but didn't raava mention a couple episodes ago korra can bend spirit energy whilst in the spirit world? She's probably find a way to transplant that into the material world and bend kuvira's energy weapon right back at her. So like AtlA where aang kind of pulls chi benging out of his ass.
