Feels like the best choice. He drives 45k miles a year, which is easily as much if not more than most taxi drivers.

All that attention on the campaign yet I can’t help but think the AI drivers will still be trash. Still driving as if they are alone on the track, seizure-like throttle control, etc.

This sound like what I need. I’ve been using a GoPro clipped to my dash while shopping around in the meantime LOL Thanks for the recommendation.

It was fantastic. A great battle between the two drivers that dominated rallying for the past 18 years. Loeb also gave Nasser Al Attiyah a good battle in the Dakar earlier this month.

Crazy. Same here except Ford not Mitsubishi. Bought my Focus RS for $35k. I put 10k miles on it in 8 months and can now sell it for $38k.

If you drive like an adult, the car will sound like it. If you drive like a douche, the car will sound like it.

“He’s a star”

I feel like they should take the opportunity to change the line a bit, make Raidillon a little sharper so it’s not so easy flat out in an F1 car. It could slow the cars in the lower formulas as they go through there, as well.

Sure enough, he fell back in Stage 1B today because he got lost and missed a checkpoint...

I meant the double decker car carrier. It was delivered from Georgia (front license plate not required there, so the front bumper looked nice and clean).

Yes. Not a good one, but yes.

People click on articles about Elon Musk, including people who hate when Jalopnik write about him…including you, apparently.

I know guys who are 6’2-6’3, 270 pounds that fit in the FiST I owned for 3 years. It’s a great car to learn manual in, for sure. My brother and I learned how to drove stick in that car and the clutch still felt great at 45k miles when I sold it. The only issues were the HVAC door actuators failing, but that’s a cheap

Vin Diesel has evoked Paul Walker many times while promoting the last three F&F films. Obviously it made sense while promoting the 7th film, but it’s been a bit cringey hearing him constantly bring Paul up to say Paul would have wanted these films to be made.

Yikes 😬 Doesn’t surprise me, though.

He was already a man of the people. People weren’t just walking up to him on these bus trips. He was walking up to them.

So true. Blind people, and even people with no limbs, have been to the summit of Everest. Coming up with the money is most of the challenge when a bunch of sherpas can literally carry you to the top.

Sharing hotel rooms SUCKS. Doesn’t matter where in the world the hotel is.

The Cult of Musk in a nutshell.

I will give it a look, but personally I love their mini-documentary segments, my favorite example being Jeremy’s telling of the Lancia vs Audi battle for the 1983 WRC title. I would love more of that.
