Lauda had the same effect on Alain Prost. Remember Prost was faster and won more races than Lauda in 1984 but Lauda won the title. Prost learned from that and revised his approach, resulting in him winning the next two world titles.

Max is one hell of an opportunist 😂

Bout damn time. The cross country world cup is nearly 30 years old. With all the manufacturer participation, it should have been a World Championship decades ago.

I laughed too hard at this.

I gladly volunteer to be the driver of the car that runs that prick over.

Not just any team, but a team of oil drillers…because it’s obviously easier to train oil drillers to be astronauts than to train astronauts to drill a hole.

It’s a hybrid and it's the top trim. Apply that to any car or CUV/SUV and watch the price soar.

I then must go with 2,056,407.

This is why I got my RS (RS2 trim). I bought it in early April for only $1k more than this car is going for, but mine only had 19k miles at the time. It has over 25k miles now and can sell for $40k or even more in the current market.

No, thank goodness. It’s just how some people drive around here. The myth is something I have heard since the 90s.

I drove a Ford Fiesta SE, with the POS 6-speed auto, through The Grapevine driving from Fresno to Los Angeles, and vice versa, many times. Steep incline up to over 4000ft going north or south, but steeper heading south. Had my AC on but the car always made it. It never shifted out of 5th, though.

I’ve heard stop signs are optional from midnight to 6am.

Porsche isn’t coming back and Porsche knows it. I hope F1 tells them to eff off next time they want to sit in on future rules discussions.

It looks like a disaster, though. Especially from the back. What a shame.

I’m sure there is some kind of planned obsolescence designed into this cloth.

Hell yes this is the correct answer.

Your take applies well to SUVs, but not to sports cars.

That’s so interesting. I had no clue some engines require it when new.

What about 89 octane? Is there a situation where buying 89 octane is better than 87 or 91/93? I've never heard a good reason to get 89 gas.
