I remember when Kimi was The Iceman, back before broadcasts aired team radio and it turned out Kimi was every bit the whiner the other drivers were. I liked it, though. It showed he gave a shit, and his motivation was questioned a lot in his career (unfairly IMO).

The Focus ST is such a great, underrated car. The Fiesta ST and Focus RS get all the praise and glory (richly deserved, of course) but the FoST is a fast, fun, livable machine, and the front end looks amazing after the refresh.

So basically an RS-Lite for $9k more than the RS cost new (or even low mileage 2018 models)?

I’d love to see F1 at a circuit like Road America, but RA is more “proper race track” than “glorified parking lot” so I can’t see it happening.

No 2018 RS ever had a head gasket failure. They came with the correct gaskets.

Focus RS with the factory-revised dampers is pretty close.

That is actually really neat.

Not to mention the inability to use brakes, stopping well short of cars at a red light and then creeping closer, little by little, or stopping in the crosswalk.

Tires would be the limiting factor. The cars would only be slightly faster than they are now if the “race” distance is the same as a modern Grand Prix.
