Jumping from Indycar to NASCAR doesn’t usually end well unless the driver has a background in dirt track racing. Drivers who started in karts and progressed through the various open wheel series usually can’t adjust unless they’re one of those drivers that can haul ass in anything, Juan Pablo Montoya being the first

I liked the idea of giving the teams the roadbook the day of instead of the day before, but the details have created a bit of a mess. I hope the organizers just make some tweaks for next year instead of abandoning the idea.

Both of your posts were fantastic. Thank you.

I learned three years ago myself. Just dived right in. Only thing I had to re-learn beforehand was right-foot braking since for many years I had used my left foot to brake.

The older manuals are not that hard, but the newer cars with Rev Hang are annoying. Shifting from 1st to 2nd and then waiting waiting waiting for the revs to drop...terrible when you want to drive fast, annoying in traffic.

Thirty minutes for a Dakar highlight show always feels too short. I get why they do it, of course (one show a day is a lot of work). Still, I’d love an hour long show every day.

That M3 is something else. I’ll take that 190E too.

I personally like having low payments and having a head start on the depreciation. I can pay the monthly amount or pay more (if there is no penalty for paying off the loan early, of course, but I would never buy where this would be the case).

Doubt it. Her focus was always on her brand, especially after Danicamania. I remember she turned down appearing in ESPN’s Body Issue while she was still driving, though, so there was definitely a line she wouldn’t cross.

Great list except for that Senna documentary. It’s fantastically done, no question, but I always refer to it as the U-571 of documentaries. It paints Prost as a villain who had all these advantages over Senna while they were teammates when Senna had Honda in his pocket (the only time Prost got what he wanted from

Neutral:

Simple. They have no money...or at least less than they would like you to think they have. In the case of Trump, though, US banks would not loan money to him anymore. I’m sure Haas can find another way to find funding for the team.

I imagine this is what purgatory would feel like.

I’d take the gun rack off and put a giant TV there, plus change out the rear seats for ones that swivel, because why not.

I’d love to see what Schumacher could have done with a Batman film NOT intended to drive toy sales. There was a lot of wasted talent on B+R. They could have made a really good movie if they were allowed to.

Hell yes.

A new Ford Escape with the 2.0 Ecoboost.

The Focus ST did not have the head gasket issue. That was the RS.

Wrong Focus.

Everyone forgets this, and it’s very annoying.
