She was in so little of S3 but what she did do was tremendous. Telling Rob she’d break his jaw if he hit Sharon made me sob. I can imagine that even if Carrie hated you she would die before she would witness an injustice against you and I think that idea is what made me blub over her (again).

Personally, I think the obvious answer is do support her even if it means he gets some money out of it. But I understand people feeling torn.

At some point — and I sincerely hope it is sooner than later — she will make good on that debt and finally flush this jerk from her life forever. But until then, I hope the idea that he’ll get a cut of her sales doesn’t stop her fans from proceeding as normal. A bitter pill, for sure, but her continued success and…

Praying is one of the best pop songs I’ve heard come out in a while, and I hope writing and releasing that brought her some degree of peace.
