I truly think the portability is the single biggest drawback to GM ditching these phone based systems. That alone makes CarPlay and Android Auto a great solution.

The 2023 Bolt actually dropped to $26,595, and effective 1/1/23 when the Infrastructure Bill kicks in and allows GM to claim the tax credit again, it will be more like $19,000. Which is thousands less than a base model Honda Civic.
