They don’t need to do that.  All they need to do is keep the graphic novel in print.

other way around. gizmodo was sold off

Cheap is to be expected from Zaslav and company.

This just looks (and sounds) like an animated version of the Snyder movie. Why go for a generic style phone game when Gibbons’ art already looked like animation?

That animation is so ugly. WB is doing this the cheapest and least interesting way possible, which sucks because an animated Watchmen could be really good.

Plot twist - the dinosaurs actually invade MILF Island!

But in this one, the dinosaurs have built a city called Dinotopia, and the people are the monsters. Rise of Jurassic City, Dawn of Jurassic City, and War for Jurassic City. It writes itself!!

The BBC ratings don’t mean anything anymore now that it airs worldwide on Disney+. Before Disney+, it aired on a hodgepodge of different networks at different times across the world. There’s no way Disney cancels it after the money they put into it.

It’s been around for 60 years. Even if you take out the 15 year break, there are 41 seasons. It is still probably the BBC’s signature show around the world.

People have been declaring DW dead since Tennant left based on ‘ratings’. Those don’t have the same meaning any more because the viewing landscape has changed. And it appears on iPlayer at the same time it shows up on Disney+. It’s not like BBC viewers are being cheated somehow.

“a completely fresh take launching a new Jurassic era, following three adults and three teens getting stuck on the Island.”

Just rewatching DS9 nowadays going through the the Jem Hadar now. It was a good and rivetting set of episodes that I just went through recently too. As I remember from back when that whole storyline thing went on WAYY too long and kinda detracted from the overall series after a while.

I love me some Brent Ratner films

It hasn’t held up as well as Young Frankenstein or Blazing Saddles, but it is still amusing.

Considering how Spaceballs was a blatant cash-grab that just wasn’t that funny, we can only hope there won’t be a sequel.

It’s been out in NZ and Australia with a few months but only getting released in the rest of the world now. I’m not sure why it was done that way.

Yeah... I’m pretty certain we’re getting close to worst video game adaption of all time with this one.

I feel completely vindicated in all the trash I talked about this when they first announced the casting.

It’s completely different. There’s different characters, different setting, different story
