OK, does anyone really want this to happen? Trek has (IMNSHO) mostly been killing it on streaming (in the proper Prime universe); Star Trek Beyond came out EIGHT YEARS AGO. Which means that by the time this happens (assuming it does), a DECADE will have gone by. It’s hard to imagine there’s momentum for this.

Do we really need to know about Chuck Norris’s undoubtedly fashy straight-to-VOD shitfest?

Every show or movie should cast Tom Cavanagh, just so he can be out there promoting it.

Who knew that insane young woman who rode a motorcycle onto a moving train (!!!) in that old VHS flick the guys at Thomas Video recommended would go on to win the Oscar for best actress and become Hollywood’s biggest buzz as a sexagenarian!

As far as his part in Gen V it’s kind of an ensemble but I’d say maybe...2nd or 3rd lead? Most plots involved him directly in some way. It’s the kind of show that can change episode to episode. He was quite good in it, it’s a shame seemed to have a bright future.

After decades of playing first-person shooters, putting the ammo counter on the side of the pulse rifles in the Alien movies strikes me as an odd design choice.

Mike Flanagan is far too valuable of talent to be wasting time on a franchise that (a) continuously pumps out underwhelming sequels and (b) doesn’t seem to be in that high of a demand for more content. That said, he’ll probably nail it and I’ll eat it right tf up because he’s great at what he does.

Well if anyone can get me interested in an exorcism movie, it’s Flanagan, but exorcism movies just don’t do anything for me. 

I’d trade almost all of these in for an Alien Isolation sequel. (A good Isolation sequel, not that crappy phone game from the late ‘10s.)

The makers of the Halo TV show could learn a lot from Fallout. How much difference it makes when the creators of the show understand and respect the source material.

Amazing show. WAY better than I expected. The character arcs of Lucy and Maximus, the slow reveal of the world and the vaults...the Ghoul and his motivations...so great. >chef’s kiss< Can’t wait for season 2.  

I think that if you can’t get actors who look like the actual historical celebrities, then don’t even bother.

In a post credit scene, we’ll see Deadpool doing a hero discussion table with She-hulk and talking about the problems around too much fourth-wall breaking gags.

I think breaking away makes more sense than shoehorning the original Aliens in and undercutting them as a result (like the prequels did).

Yeah - Lost is my perfect example of WHAT NOT TO BE...  They very clearly either had a cool idea but no idea of the end-game and were making it up as they went - or - they had an ending in mind, but the crazy level of interest from season 1 made them stretch it out so far that they added dumb non-sensible filler…
