The Chris Pratt roles will continue until morale improves.

The Marvels looks fun. It’s a real bummer they couldn’t have the cast out there promoting it - I hope it does much better than expected this weekend at the box office.

It’s wild to me that out of the entire X-Men franchise that Disney bought when they acquired 20th Century Fox, the only big-money-making sub-franchise within it was Deadpool. All the other X-Men movies under 20th century Fox except Logan kind of just fizzled out after Days of Future Past.

I will put money that this full trilogywill be out and conclude before Winds of Winter is released.

I’m sure there’ an audience, and this particular one ain’t new,  but _man_ am I sick of these cheap-áss films with the whole “cherished fictional character, but evil serial killer” angle.

Deadline further reports that Jurassic World writer Derek Connolly will pen Nintendo and Sony’s live-action Zelda adaptation.

John Wick should have been a one and one movie. The first movie managed to make its slick ultraviolent action mean something in the context of a story about a man in the depth of grief. After that it just became about the silly and pointless rules of the world of assassins.

“Army of the Dead has a pretty vast mythology that never made it into the movie.”

That Wonka movie looks so terrible, you guys.

It’s Oz the Great and Powerful all over again.

Right? A movie about the younger version of the guy everyone hates. No thanks.

I’m getting sick to death of it. Not every story is worth telling. In the case of Wonka, it severely misses the point of both the book and the movie, where Willy Wonka was little more than a quirky ambulatory plot device to tell Charlie’s story. If you look at that story and think “I need to know where this top hat

The trade reports that Warner Bros. feels like it needs Max content, due to the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike.”

There’s a new Hunger Games prequel and I’m baffled. Who care where President Snow came from?

Does anyone actually get excited or look forward to these “Origin Stories”, based on classic stories, that no one asked for?

Auto sales in general are soft right now, it just so happens that some of the highest margin products on sale right now happen to be EVs. As happens with any decline in a market, the high margin stuff is going to suffer more than everything else. I’d love to see a comparison that shows more reasonably priced EVs (say,

They just posted Toyota PR without verifying it with hard numbers. I posted in a different post the Prius they are saying is selling well compared to EVs (which they use misleading comparisons of the F150 Lightning supply vs Prius) actually is selling worse than mediocre selling EVs, much less hot sellers like the

After a relatively hot last couple of years, EV sales have cooled off. A lot of American buyers don’t want them

MotorTrend seems to be generally pro-EV.

When did Jalop get such a weird, albeit slight, anti EV stance?
