That’s the main thing they almost always overlook when playing this trope. The clone is always the same age as the donor.

Yeah not once did that trailer reminded me anything of the Fox and the Hound or All Dogs go to Heaven. However the premise made me think, somebody had shrooms and somebody had acid then co wrote that idea. Then the movie was made while the entire crew was high on weed while watching Robot Chicken.

Well, if nothing else (and let’s be honest, there will be nothing else), we’ll get to see Snyder add at least one more item to the list of things he professes to love but demonstrates a fundamental misunderstanding of. This time, joy of joys, it looks to be Kurosawa’s turn.

I like Downtown and I liked that version well enough. But I can’t hear that song without mentally belting out Groundskeeper Willie’s version.

it’s sort of like if made a Tom and Jerry tv show but instead of them being relatively wholesome cat and mouse battles in a house the show was Tom as King of House Cat and Jerry as Lord of House Mouse and their was adult intrigue, sex and murder oh and Zombie dogs attacking from the vacant lot north of the house. lol.

I agree. I couldn’t find a single likeable character, except for 355. She kicks ass. I know that’s how Yorick was written in the comics, but god, no sane person would act like he did. “I know I’m the last man on earth but why should I hide, protect myself or any of my friends at all?” I didn’t expect a second or third…

Sadly the answer to that question is likely... “because a certain type of person does agree with his perspectives and ‘wants him there’”.
