So Black Lightning Season 1 is using one of the plotlines of Arrow Season 1 (Diggle did the honors)...which was used again in Season 3 (Roy this time)...and this season too (back to Diggle again).

The biggest issue in the book I would say is the nature of its descriptions, which rely so heavily on nostalgia and references. Effectively if you don’t know what a Delorian looks like or the original Enterprise then you’ll effectively be blind as a reader.

Well, I thought the books was absolutely terrible, so almost anything would have been an improvement, but the story comes through clearly enough and it felt alternately grim and incredibly fun which are things I just didn’t get from Cline’s book.

I feel like GoT spinoffs are....a mistake. I realize the show has been HBO’s cash cow for like 8 years...but when the show finishes, I feel like everyone will be ready to move onto something new and any spinoffs will not be great.

When people who don’t comprehend what abuse is speak out, we get crap like this. Yelling at someone, isn’t abuse. Being harsh in the work place in a stressful time, isn’t abuse. It’s not awesome, but it’s certainly not abuse.

Watching these clips only reassured me that bailing out on this series after the first episode was a very wise choice.

I’m sure it has to do with a combination of clicks and stuff the writers are interested in but it blows my mind that we seem to get almost weekly articles about Gotham, but io9 gave up on shows like The Expanse and 12 Monkeys a long time ago. Disappointing really.

I still have no issue with the way the force was used in The Last Jedi. My major issue was with the script itself it was simply poorly written it wasn’t the execution for me. The tone was all over the place and entire Canto Bite side story was completely pointless to the story. So Lukes force projection, Leia’s force…

I love Mackenzie Davis and I love the Terminator franchise, but I think she would be really miscast.

Too many time lines. If the terminator is wearing a goatee then something went even more horribly wrong than Genisys.
