The Superman Logo being retconned into being a family crest is so weird.

Yeah, according to this premise, isn’t EVERY SINGLE TV SHOW currently on-air a show about life before the Man of Tomorrow actually arrived? Heck, The Love Boat was a show about life before he arrived :/

...the company is adding a weird new one: Metropolis, a series set... before the Man of Tomorrow actually arrived.

So they fully expect Krypton to fail so hard they are already rebooting with a different superman prequel show. got it.

Harsh, yet fair.

Why would you give [any] project to Goyer [...] ?

Sadly, I think you’re misunderstanding the internet, Doctor.

It’s a tiny part of a lo-res pic of concept art with a hand in the way of 20% of it.

Good stuff.

My guess is that AoS is staying off Earth in the present-day MCU indefinitely because the events and fallout from Infinity War are too expensive to be addressed.

This is one of their best storylines to date. Sure it hits a few of the same points they have in the past but it has been amazing so far.

I’m beginning to doubt Paramount’s commitment to Sparkle Motion.

Oh, dear gods...

Takeshi Kovacs is not Asian. He’s not even Terran. His homeworld was settled by a mixture of Japanese and Czech folks who have looooooooong since merged into a single culture. Not that it even matters, because your sleeve is interchangeable. Ethnic identity is completely irrelevant in the future of Altered Carbon.

Not even that - it calls for a person of Asian and Eastern European heritage, but from an entirely different planet and culture, to be inside a white person’s body. There is literally no white-washing.

Because the writers for this site like to cry “WHITEWASHING” whenever they can.

In a similar case of whitewashing, in this week’s Supergirl a white woman portrayed a black man.

1 - This is NOT white washing, this is how the character has always been presented.
2 - The character is NOT Japanese-American. His ancestry is Japanese and Easter European, but he was born on another planet. Which means there’s NOTHING American about him.

I mean, c’mon. You’d think that in the era of Trump we’d have
