Neither movie should have taken place on Earth. If it had been Alien vs. Predator vs. Space Marines (like every other incarnation of the concept), it might have had a chance.

@dcmidnight: I'm not dissing the Pre's form factor, I've heard nothing but praise from people who actually own them. But is would be nice if they just released a big old honking touch screen phone to eliminate the "It's too small" excuse for buyers.

I hope they come out with an Evo-sized device. I think their dedication to the small screen + keyboard form factor hurt them last time around. The Pre may be more comfortable for every day use, but it's a lot less impressive on a store shelf next to the new android phones.

@Lazzzara: Right, I have no idea where companies get the idea that their customized versions of OSes add value. Whenever someone buys a new windows laptop, the first thing they do is remove all the crapware to get back to stock windows.

This looks cool, but I would be wary of buying some new Google-TV enabled device only to have Google TV 3.0 come out in a year or two and not support my old and busted device.
