I agree completely. Dogs should never be off leash. A lot of people still do this. Why? Many people think their dog will "not attack with complete certainty". Not true.

Trained is the key word. No dog is 100% not going to bite anyone ever. Ferrel dogs are not trained and don't know the difference. What's your point?

I try to get someone something that is to their taste and include a gift receipt. If they want the cash or store credit they can return it. I think asking for handouts is hideously tacky.
