On top of being the OG competitive puzzle game with more ports and sequels than any other puzzler (eat it, Panel de Pon), the Puyo Puyo games often have hilarious endings. They’re worth finding the unofficial translations.

In retrospect, the target audience of this was the kind of anime fans who watch Love Live and Idolm@ster. Both of them are part of the seemingly “innocent” yet massively creepy idol industry.
Why is this using NES Tetris again and not, say, Tetris TGM 3? Tetris Effect or 99? Hell, why not the licensed Card Captor Sakura version on PS1?
