That is strange the ownership length is short. Granted I wouldnt want to own one out of warranty. That would be a fucking nightmare when something breaks, but I wouldve kept it longer otherwise.
why wouldnt you just ebay it? Youd easily make more there.
haha, CT here, Road trips were to vermont. Loved every second of it and it was super comfortable. Like I said, way more comfortable place to be in than the C6's or Porsche I had access to.
Was the one you drove stock? The GTR was one of the best ride quality Ive driven with exception of true comfort cars, rolls/caddys/ etc. For a highpo/supercar, stock, it was like driving a typical everyday car down the road. Better than anything I have to compare it to.
I dunno, like I said I liked mine alot. It was a ‘13 and had it for 2 years. Put 30k ish on it, did a bunch of road trips and some racing as well as some daily driving, even bombed down a fire road once :x
Loved it. If I wasnt trying to start a family, get married, and build a house, Id have another one right now…
I just used the maxima as an example as a sporty family car since its the same brand. I never found it particularly loud or brittle at all. The tranny would make clunk noises but thats typical and doesnt effect daily driverness.
Weird. I found it extremely comfortable. WAY more comfortable than the 911 and c6 or c6 grandsport.
I dunno. I didnt think the ride was hard at all. It was plush compared to the couple c6 corvettes and porsche c4 that were also in the garage. When driving in comfort mode the thing was truly comfortable. No different than your typical family car for me.
I had one for awhile and was by far the best car Ive ever had the opportunity to daily. It was the most comfortable, and fastest car ever. When driving to work it was like driving a maxima. After work it was a proper supercar.
I haven't. That's how bad I think his is going to be
Ive seen clips. I suspect this is going to be worse.
It 100% can be worse.
I really hope this turns out okay but I cant help but think this is going to be the largest pile of crap the BBC has ever aired.
You care way too much.
I just re-read it and I could see that coming off the wrong way. Dont get me wrong, I love the CB500x. Its an absolutely awesome bike. Its just not a true adventure bike. Way too bulky and too heavily street focused.
Haha no way man. You want that nimble frame. Makes it significantly easier to handle in the dirt
Lol the CB is not an adventure bike. At all. The plastic on the sides are the fuel tanks as well as on the rear fender. That windshield is for aero reasons. Your helmet is for visibility. If your going for speed you drop below that. This is what every Dakar bike looks like. If you're serious about true adventure this…
Apparently there is. Its just not easy to do it yourself.
Thats about right for a converted bike. Top ends might last longer depending on how much you ride but the rest is pretty typical
