how does tower records compare to amoeba records? I'm just a college kid so i've never been to tower records, but it seems like Amoeba is the modern towers records by how many musicians love the place

b99 is the most diverse show without trying really hard (ahem half the abc shows) and 99% of their jokes are not race related, which is incredibly refreshing because when you can hold a show together without making identity a joke machine or some roadblock to working together, you get what the ideal situation would…
