As a local LDS leader, I do not or have not seen anyone engage in coercive tactics. A key point of LDS doctrine is that a war was fought in heaven over the principles of agency and choice.

As an active LDS member who holds a local leadership position, I have to say that there are criticisms that are legit, and there are criticisms that are simply because you may not believe what we believe, and then there is nonsense. This article IMO blurs that line and makes things seem sinister that are not:
