I’m down with plums or any other fruit or vegetable. Its the ubiquity of avocado love that confounds me.
If you’re a white woman, you don’t need to mention in your profile that you love avocados; we know. I’m blown away by the frequency this is mentioned on dating apps. Sure, avocados are great but its not a friggin personality trait.
Even though this may seem counter-intuitive, I find that spicy curries are great to help cope with the heat. The spiciness opens up my sinuses and gets my body’s natural cooling processes kickstarted making the ambient temperature more bearable.
Something, something... pulling herself up by her Prada bootstraps...something something.
Hide it in the back of your spice cabinet or in a tool box/tool shed if you have a yard. Sock drawer works fine too. If its a small child, hiding it is as simple as keeping it out of arms reach and away from things that they might find interesting. The trickiest one is hiding your 3 ft bong that’s caked with resin and…
I fly between PDX and SFO at least 1-2 times a month and there are, on average, 3 “service dogs” on every flight.
I’ve never had any horribly embarrassing pictures of myself put online, but I have started to get really annoyed when friends and family try to take a quick selfie or party pic. I have made the personal choice to stay off instagram, facebook, etc but I know that my image and whereabouts are still online because of,…
I think W Kamau Bell confuses telling funny jokes with saying things that guilty white liberals will clap for. His special is riddled with him saying something like, “My kids are biracial,” “I support ____”, “Trump’s a racist” and then just waiting for the applause. His audience agrees with everything says, so they…
I don’t think any team can afford to take on his contract through a trade with a few exceptions. The more important question is who wants him? He’d get in the way on a team trying to rebuild. His skill set doesn’t really fit on any of the teams trying to contend.
You’re right as well. I suppose the nuanced take would be: “The Rockets weren’t quite as good as the Warriors last season, but they got tantalizingly close to knocking them out in the WCF. But Paul’s injury and the Rocket’s shaky shooting weren’t the only two unlucky events to befall either team.”
Albert’s right. The Rocket’s certainly made the series feel close but you’re discounting the fact that the Rocket’s, themselves, were extremely lucky to get the series to 3-2. Aside from Game 2, the games the Rocket’s won were close and they benefited from some timely apathy on the Warriors part. The games the…
Right? Its so tacky. On the internet, though, I suppose its the easiest way to get clicks.
Are the tips applied on the card reader given to the employee who does the transaction, pooled between the entire staff or just gathered by management and arbitrarily distributed?
I’m pretty forgiving of people eating stinky food as long as they A) eat all of the food quickly or B) Carry it in a tightly sealed container and keep it closed when they’re not actively eating.
There exists a possible reality where women are more empowered to tell guys off directly AND have little support systems like the angel shot. It doesn’t need to be one way or the other.
This relates to two funbag questions: We may never reach peak taco but I do think that we’ve achieved peak grilled cheese. In my opinion, the best grilled cheese is simplest and with the some of the cheapest ingredients. Decent white bread, kraft singles, buttered on the outside of both slices of bread, cooked ‘til…
I think In N’ Out is both over-hyped AND the best burger for the league that its in. For the price and the ingredients, it does the best job with the basic cheeseburger. There are definitely better burgers out there but they’re either much pricier, not fast-food, and/or using more adventurous ingredients to the point…
I don’t know how she was able to refer to him as “This gentleman...” with a straight face.
