I think visiting NFL team fans would plan weekends and vacations to go to their teams’ games in Las Vegas. It’s convenient for the AFC West and special for other teams that don’t play there every year. Teams like Buffalo and Jacksonville will be less supported after their first games in Vegas.
Atlanta has (or had) all four major pro sports and is also the capital of SEC fandom. Counting the Thrashers, UGa football, and Tech football, they had about 200 home games per year.
I think there will be no problem selling 8 (or 9) NFL games. The three AFC West games and the two NFC home games will have massive crowds of visiting fans. Weak, broke-ass AFC markets like Cincinnati and Buffalo won’t draw visiting fans to Vegas so well, especially the third or fourth time around.
Except for perfect storms of distance, poverty, and awful football like Jax and Buffalo, I think the visiting team’s fans would take every seat they could get for a Vegas game. The three AFC West home games and the two NFC home games are guaranteed sellouts. The other three AFC games are a crapshoot, depending on…
Las Vegas has 750,000 visitors per week. Most of them are adults with money to spend on entertainment. I don’t think it will be hard to sell 8 or 9 NFL games.
Why would someone be watching them for the story?
Yeah, the bottle of Squirt sells me that this guy isn’t a complete buffoon. It’s the caviar of inexpensive sodas.
Big-time college coaches often are a little more to the left than you might expect of high-income white guys, in the sense of not favoring debtors’ prisons or shooting brown people on sight. They usually have actual black friends.
Democrats may fight, but it will take some time for them to implement the “prove government can’t work by deliberately running the government as poorly as possible” strategy.
So how is this *bad*? Other than transferring money from some people to other people?
When I was married, our cats would be waiting inside the door when I got home.
It was a zesty reply.
So do Yahoo! Ads.
Writing from the perspective of an enthusiastic fan was fine at the time. If you enjoyed his work then and you think that now he’s a lazy, ignorant gasbag, you’re probably right both times.
That’s what the Stig would do. The average joe would BRAKE.
So I’ve been doing it wrong all this time? I have a lot of apologies to send.
Wouldn’t it be more appropriate to show child porn and ask the fans to look the other way?
Yeah, Joe’s a hero, just like Nile Kinnick. In his honor, the fans will stand and remain silent for 30 years at every home game from now on.
The good news is that they didn’t have an ounce of weed on campus.
