They put school bonds on the ballot almost every time. They are always relatively small (when compared to the overall budget) so you think, why not? However, they keep adding up and I am not seeing them make great use of them.

This bugs me, too. Although your vote may not sway the electoral votes, it DOES add to the popular vote. I would love to see a mandate for HRC so that Trump can’t pull the “but she barely beat me” card. In context, every vote does count.

In CA, they send you a sticker with your vote by mail package. I still drop mine off at the polling station because I never mail it in time and I get a weird satisfaction about dropping the envelope into the box.
