The picture in my mind was the “skittering” child from the other story but a full grown man. I had to re-read it three times before I could get a more accurate and less freaky picture in my mind. Even now, I see him doing some sort of Exorcist crab walk or something.

I don’t even think they would have to do that. How much does it take to maintain a grown tiger every year? Someone might lose their job though...

I wonder if LSU can use their funds for caring for a tiger to help rescue a bunch of animals and move them to better sanctuaries...or to fund better regulations and agencies that surround the care of tigers in the United States. Then they can just have a dude that dresses up like a tiger and does silly things with

I read this as her father was born in 1928 and his father was born in 1828. I was all, whoa, THAT there is some craziness.

Goddamn. I just saluted this post.

It’s really where we Baileys shine.

Yup. And then she cackled.

If kids came to my place, I would totally give out toothbrushes or maybe apples. Something that sucks to kids.

stealing, er, uh, repurposing!

I was chatting with my husband last night and he admitted that the election has really got him spun up but he can’t back away from it. We are both totally on the HRC train but it is still exhausting. I gave up trying to convince others of her worthiness of the Presidency. He wants me to open up a dialog with my

Thank you for this amazing story. I remember hearing about the Morris confrontation in 1990 but at the time as a high school senior, I was more interested in prom, grades and Bell Biv Devoe. Reading this, I have realized that I missed the opportunity for inspiration from a successful woman only a few years older

My sister did the same. When she found a Ross Perot sign (apparently the only one in town), I had to steal it for her since I worked late. She then put everything in the front yard and took pictures of all of them.

I felt like this about the destruction of his star on the Walk of Fame. I hate the SOB but we should be better than that.

So only related because both stories mention Time. When I was a junior in high school (in 1988), we read two articles about the 68 democratic convention, one from Time and one from Newsweek. They were starkly different in how they portrayed the protesters. This was to teach us about “media bias” and to think

This is a good idea to look into!

Ahhhh, I imagined it outside the room here at my own office, for all to see...

Upon reading this, I bet the hug was for observers and NOT for you. He was probably trying to look friendly and like he has allies in the office.

Friends are totally different. One of my best friends used to be “just a co-worker.” However, I would NEVER hug her if she showed over in my building to interview for a position. I think hugs are work are weird unless under very narrow circumstances. (A co-worker/friend hugged me when my mom called to tell me that

I am affectionate as all get out but hugging in the workplace is a NO. Full stop.

I wondered the same thing and then just imagined a bag with a rabbit AND 10 year old boy head.
