-Tire pressure readout: pretty much all cars constantly monitor tire pressure in one form or another, so why can’t they make this info available to the driver? It can be via infotainment, or instrument panel menus, or whatever. Just let me be able to see a tire losing air before it’s critical.

-Rain-sensing wipers: so annoying to keep adjusting the wiper speed in variable rain. I’ve had them on exactly one car ever, and I can’t understand why they’re not more widespread.

Hear, hear!

I was a skeptic when the wife got this for her car, but we just did a 6500-mile road trip all over the country and it was so nice to have the map/directions up in the field of view, just a glance over from the road. I’m sold.

I have a few:

Ah a kindred spirit!

It is easy to surmise what was meant, but it requires correcting it in your brain. As written, taken literally, it says that the sanctioning body released a statement, and this statement then transported two men to the hospital. It’s an annoying trip-up to read the first part and be prepared to hear what was said,

Yeah, I started with the usual have-fun-with-the-typo-by-taking-it-literally thing, which hey, we’re here to have fun with anything we can get our hands on. I didn’t need to add a rant about editorial standards.

Sorry, that second paragraph was unnecessary. I’m in a bad mood for completely unrelated reasons, and it’s not fair to take it out on some hapless stranger.

In a statement released by the series’ sanctioning body, SRO Motorsports Group, Blomstedt and the unfortunate marshal were both transported to the hospital

OK I just looked at the layout, I was picturing the transmission behind or below the engine, so the ‘center’ diff would be pretty far back. Turns out I was way off, transmission is ahead of the engine and powers a proper center diff, like front engine AWD flipped around. Also, that’s true they could use all manner of

I have so many questions:

Am I the only one saddened by the AWD-everything trend? Offer it as an option, sure, but why is RWD disappearing from all the higher-end models? Is it because at that price range, most buyers go ahead pay a little more the AWD version just to have it in case they ever need it? Sure, the computers can turn off the

Do you find it odd that BMW finally built an M7, but because of the usual bloat it officially carries a 5 badge?

Came here to say this. I was overly pleased when I noticed that on my ‘08 Passat.

This has been a thing for a surprisingly long time. Back in the 90's my grandparents had a lot in a place like this in Titusville called The Great Outdoors, where they parked their 5th wheeler half the year. They were the poors.

Also a *pregnant* veteran mother. Just to make sure.

LOL I can’t stop laughing. It’s taking too long to type this.

OK so we’ll do it in sunny California. Even better!
