I have never, ever asked my Uber driver to do any of those things. I enter in my destination before requesting the uber, am waiting outside when they arrive, and then once I get to my destination, I say thank you and get out of the car. That’s why I don’t feel like I need to tip.

For what it’s worth, with Dollar Shave Club you can set your subscription frequency to every other month (which I do). You can also pause it for a certain number of months if you get a backlog of razors (which I've done). I feel like that's important information to share for anyone interested in subscription services.
