And almost every person has a "sob story" every season,you can't just single out Jaclyn

Jon was a goofy idiot who was a funny deviation from your normal alpha male.Jaclyn had depth and had a good story.Now,I found them annoying some times but if you think they're as bad as the people on Redemption Island or Worlds Apart,you're crazy

to each their own,I find Guatemala and Panama really enjoyable because they were 2 fun seasons and had funny hilarious tribes,plus the boot order of Guatemala was really unpredictable too.

I don't think @sammymoore:disqus wanted a survival type of show,I believe he was talking about Survivor as a documentary or an unscripted drama where each person gets their own storylines and has a beginning,middle and an end.

ehh not really,while SJDS post-merge is amazing,the cast still had people like Natalie,Keith,Jon,Jaclyn,Wes,etc all likable people as opposed to the cast of Redemption Island which had moronic assholes and pricks

yeah I agree but if the cast of WA or Thailand featured unpredictable idol plays,the season would still be bad because of the cast

yeah I guess it's all subjective. I can see why you don't like the season if you don't like the cast.
Though I don't think Australia is as divisive as,say All Stars or Gabon ,it still placed 10th on the RHAP listener rankings

while Immunity Idols have definitely shaken the gameplay and strategy up,I still say the cast , the characters and their storylines still make the season.

Australia is only boring if you're watching it for strategy,though. Watch it as an unscripted drama with characters and storylines and it becomes a richer experience,imo . The episode where their rice washes away is still a top 10 episode for me

The Borneo finale is still easily a top 5,maybe top 3 episode.
Fucking riveting and it didn't have to rely on strategy/gameplay to make it so

yeah that is by far my favorite track and probably my favorite Lost moment.too.
I love "Moving On" ,the final track from the finale and "Credit where credit is due" is amazing and it's great how that track became Lost's signature theme

I have like 500 tracks of Giacchino from the Lost soundtrack,I love that score so much but Zimmer has to be my personal favorite,just for the Interstellar OST alone
