I also had bronchitis last new year’s! Then when I was able to go back to work I got laryngitis and lost my voice (I’m a therapist, my job is talking, it was a weird few days). Worst!

I’m not a “believer” but I still can’t explain that I somehow knew when my now-hisband’s father died. Like, within the half hour. And we hadn’t spoken all night. There’s something to death and life leaving.

Many, if not most, therapists have training in basic concepts of DBT, but the traditional model that includes intensive group therapy and individual therapy which in itself also includes after hours skills-coaching, you’re right is very rare.

If they are being judgey, I think it was targeted more toward the article, not people dealing with BPD. They are correct, DBT is a leading treatment and as an evidence-based practice it is shown significant impact- but you are right, not EVERYONE.

I work for a state facility. I was an intern here and I currently have an intern. The internship has always been 16 hrs/week and I was not paid and she is not paid. She gets credit for her master’s degree, though. 

Did you make it to the episode with money/credit cards? That one for many reasons really “upset” me. I think because it’s so easily probable, I’m the lead breadwinner but this country does not care about me, etc. etc. forever
