This is all I think about when people talk about war crimes.

My favorite is the Matt Damon booth. I can't tell if I want a Matt Damon Booth or if I just want my own personal dancing booth that I can use at home. "Sorry, can't talk. Going to my dancing booth for a while."
If in fact this cancellation/bullshittery happened to Colbert at 2pm the day before, I really, really tip my hat to his bookers, producers and all the other assorted geniuses he has on staff for what must have been a panicky, excruciating, up-all-night scramble.
"My peeps were feeling funky on this one."
He was much more comfortable on roller skates than I'd have ever expected, and now I might want to kiss him on the mouth as a result.
I've heard that from a lot of people about Dave Matthews, and I live in Seattle, where he lives part-time, so I believe 'em! And actually, I've met a lot of fairly famous musicians who are genuinely rad. (My best bud's husband is in a well-known indie band, and he's one of the sweetest, most modest guys I know.) But…
Dude, really? I have all of the Black Keys' albums. All they talk about is 'Bitch be crazy and shit, yo' or 'Bitch be so hot she's making me crazy.' The only exception I can think of is Unknown Brother. The rest focus on the desire women make men feel for them, and the way men suffer for that. Don't get me wrong,…
Dude, a restraining order and fearing for your life isn't normal. And when stuff is in the media, people are going to comment about it. I find the story alarming but it's not like I don't feel he doesn't have the right be flailing right now, and I'm not going to speak for all the divorced couples in the world. The…
I thought the Black Keys were too busy ripping off Muddy Waters.
He'll get his day in court. But seriously, trying to have your child change classrooms because you feel like another child's parent plagiarized your song? That is a parenting FAIL (and speaks volumes about his bloated ego). If you're negotiating custody, you can't be badmouthing the mother of your children either, or…
" too, but like White, they balance that out with songs that are more positive, "
I also like that you're trying to defend a man THIS MUCH in an article in which his wife has gotten a restraining order and has said he is not a fit parent because he has sent threatening emails and is otherwise being really fucking awful…
Read some of his lyrics. Jack White mistrusts women. It's obvious. Doesn't make him any less of a musical genius, but man. He is not a fan of women.
Yes, just like how Sean Penn and Mel Gibson and Charlie Sheen will NEVER get the Chris Brown treatment.
Dan Auerbach does seem like an utterly unpleasant person (see: two Rolling Stone interviews with the band and the kerfuffle with Carney's ex-wife "cock-blocking" Auerbach). But Jack White also seems that way inclined. If anything, Jack White speaks of and represents women more in his work, but Auerbach does not look…
It's all in the genre, my friend. My partner is a blues musician, and the indulging he partakes in mostly involves coffee, beards, and the occasional moonshine that he drinks like a grandpa (slow and steady). I also once dated a folk/indie frontman and he was crazy with the loose leaf tea, chess and Tolstoy.
Try electronic musicians. Not like, some Tiesto 12-hour-pretend-raves-for-upper-class-Euro-wannabe types. But like dudes who use Ataris and outdated computers and wear old NASA tees. That shit is where it's at.
jack white's a good musician and all but how can he complain about people ripping him off? i've never heard anything of his that didn't sound like an updated version of music from 50 years ago.
Hey Jack, I got a pro-tip for you: when your songs are incredibly simple don't be surprised to hear other songs that sound like them. I know you think you thought of that I - IV - V - I progression, but you didn't buddy. It's been around. For a couple hundred years.
i don't think what we would think as ripped off is the same as what an egomaniac like jack white would think is being ripped off.
There's been a lot of talk these last couple of weeks about "hipster racism" or "ironic racism"—or, as I like to…
