INJECT IT INTO MY VEINS

Agreed. Last night, I was trying to think of the last Finals that was remotely this entertaining/aesthetically pleasing? Maybe (the Chris Pronger led)Edmonton vs Cam Ward/Carolina? Probably not though.

Agreed, follow the Occam’s Collar principle.

Very good assessment. Yeah, was thinking something similar and I’ve always liked Schmidt’s game. Would think his skill/talent would have popped to just about any casual hockey fan. Am near certain the Caps and their fans hated losing him last summer.

Oh you..

Watery Domestic is the absolute peak of Pavement imo. The post-Gary stuff has a lot of high points, sure, but something was lost.

It’s a smart joke, and he’s not going to dumb it down for some bonehead mass audience.

He absolutely deserves to be suspended (I’d be surprised if it isn’t multiple games), but losing him would/will be a big blow for the Leafs. “Shutting down” Patrice Bergeron’s unit was almost always going to be a pipe dream, but even slightly impeding them seems almost impossible without Kadri. Best to just roll

They won the SC in 1989-1990 practically immediately post-Wayne though...

I’m fairly certain I let out an audible “Oh, come on!” - or something like that - when it became clear what McNulty was about to do. At least it wasn’t off camera (& followed by a REVEAL), but it was a serious writing misstep imo & quite out of character for the show. There was some good enough stuff in Season 5, but

I hesitate to even bring up anything from the prequel movies, but doesn’t this basically describe that Darth maul guy as well? I’m not going to put myself through rewatching it (probably obviously - again, prequels) but I feel like he just kind of showed up a couple times with little to no explanation.

She’d never make it.

And there it is! Referring to Duke Lacrosse is definitely the go-to for many that peddle in rape apologist garbage.  If you happen to reply with something referring to Rolling Stone/UVA, I won’t be too surprised.

Ugh, this is just gross. I’ll believe the women, thank you very much.

He’s also been accused by multiple women of sexual misconduct. You realize that, right? I liked him too previously, but whatever. He had to go. It was long overdue.

Assuming this is truly what you do (god help us), it sounds like the aforementioned option ‘don’t go out to eat in the US’ might be your best play going Fw.

Could’ve done without your first sentence (obviously only women are prone to hysteria, amirite?), but I see what you’re saying . You’re not wrong either as the stereotypical NFL fan probably has little to no problem with what went on last night, as evidenced in more than few oafish/obtuse comments in this thread.

I don’t fucking love it. These are human beings in a sport with a culture that is inherently flawed, almost certainly irrevocably so (as evidenced last night).
