At least it wasn’t off camera (& followed by a REVEAL), but it was a serious writing misstep imo & quite out of character for the show. There was some good enough stuff in Season 5, but…

I hesitate to even bring up anything from the prequel movies, but doesn’t this basically describe that Darth maul guy as well?
