John Prine is amazing. At his best, he somehow toes the line between being extremely clever & achingly heartfelt. His debut LP (that contains Angel From Montgomery) might be the 2012 Mike Trout of all debut LPs - simply stunning & it almost defies belief. I revisit it often.
