I totally agree. Kramer was something of an innocent in a lot of ways. His general carelessness and inability to really commit to things obviously made him prone to doing a lot of foolish things (that often impacted others negatively), but he wasn't an intentionally cruel character.

This is mine. I was in college at the time so I wasn't exactly adhering to a regular TV schedule or anything (to say the least) but I had heard good things & still somehow missed it despite sort of looking out for it. It wasn't that much later when I did watch the DVDs, but still.

That show is so unbelievably watchable. I mean, I find the buildups better than the payoffs almost without exception but the ride is a lot of fun to say the least. I'm a little further than you so I won't say anything further. ; )
