So much this.
So much this.
I didn't know that it was possible to dislike Savoy Truffle.
Jocelyn the French Canadian prostitute reminded everybody else of Isabella Rossellini, right?
'ba ba ba ba ba'
That song from a child's viewpoint pleading the father not to get loaded that upcoming Xmas is pretty heavy. Not exactly Silver Bells, lol.
Cindy Mancini all day, every day.
Let it Be is easily my least favorite LP by The Beatles. I like Two of Us & some of the snippets well enough but that album sans Across the Universe would be extremely forgettable imo (although I feel the title track is Macca at his most overly mawkish so that may color this somewhat).
'We're four months apart!'
Pardon me for trying to class this place up…
Exactly - I recall David Letterman & Conan O'Brien at least.
Yeah, he was pretty much one of the funniest people ever even before he landed his spot on the Daily Show pre-Colbert Report so my faith is devout.
Make it so.
'So who's winning the match?'
'Same.'
Before my time unfortunately but I feel like the dude in the yellow jacket from Better Off Dead has kept the torch alive for subsequent generations. Talk about a scene stealer…
The NFL just had their first ever postseason game on cable this past postseason (CAR-ARZ maybe?). Once I got over the initial shock of that, I realized how desperate it felt.
'Timbo…Timbrrrrr'
Phenomenal Side One, Track One.
Run For Your Life pales in comparison to the former imo, but JL certainly brought a certain swagger to those types of songs.
I am a fan of both songs (along with just about all things Beatles) but, yeah, what you said.
