I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, the best thing about Tom Hardy’s Bane is that it gave us Harley Quinn’s Bane.

I’d pay to see a DC animated film in a theater before I spend money to see a live action one, that’s for damn sure.
James Gunn's The Suicide Squad is actually really good. (have to write it out so people don't mistake it for the other shittier suicide squad) but yeah animation wise DC has been the heavy hitter for a while now...just so long as you don't look at the cars...or planes...or for gotham by gas light the giant set piece…
It’s been like 25 years now so I think it’s safe to say it’s a trend, but I’m continually astounded by how much DC animation continuously knocks it out of the park, while they’ve still never made one outstanding live action superhero movie that wasn’t a Batman. Even the TV shows have consistently been…
Every word of this description made me want to watch this show even more. To the point I stopped reading it after the first paragraph. I’m in!
Honestly this sounds better than the last couple HQ seasons.
However, Kite Man, a.k.a. Chuck
Hell yeah!
The real tragedy? She lost her health insurance through the guild in 2014, and didn't get it back until the next year. If she had had it, that cancer probably would have been caught early and not had the chance to metastasize.
Sorry to hear about this, she was fantastic in Heathers, and being a Kevin Smith fan, I enjoyed her in Mallrats too. I was stationed overseas in the early 90's, and Beverly Hills 90210 was one of the shows the Armed Forces Network showed, I got hooked and kept watching even when I was discharged
Oh man, that sucks. Was literally just listening to the newest episode of her podcast with Holly Marie Combs yesterday where they were talking about plans. She also mentioned that she’s made sure that her mother is taken care of because she knew this was coming.
The snitch line was actually the “Shannen Snitch Line” meant to have people call in with gossip about Shannen herself, not complain about Brenda. For people who thought she was so awful, they sure didn’t mind being awful themselves.
It was incredible to see her put aside all the behind the scenes drama and pay tribute to Luke Perry by guest-starring on Riverdale as the random woman who Fred sacrificed his life to save.
I was really sad to hear about this, though it’s obviously been coming for a long time.
Team Shannen
I love her in The Shining but she will always be the absolute perfectly cast Olive Oyl.
I was especially partial to The Boy That Left Home to Find Out About the Shivers to the point I still watch it every year or two. I got a kick out of MacNicol on Ally McBeal and 24 about two decades later looking pretty much the same
I didn’t like Kubrick’s film of “The Shining” but thought that Duvall was amazing in it. I also appreciate her saying “If you want to get into pain and call it art, go ahead, but not with me.”. Too many people think you have to put yourself or others through hell to create ‘art’ - her approach seems far more sane to…
Faerie Tale Theatre really was SUCH a forgotten gem of a show. I was lucky enough that our family had cable, but what I remember the most was how popular the VHS releases were. Every video store (and there were many in our area) had them all and they were always out of rental copies. Eventually I settled for doing…
To say nothing of how it was pretty much ground zero for the ‘80s anthology show boom, probably the first hit cable-based series, and one of the first shows that had its entire run released to VHS.
