Season 2 premieres in June. Would not be shocked if they show up for the monologue.

anyone excited for this clearly has not seen any 21st century Coppola films.
But will it have a great theme song?
I can’t recommend the novel enough, it’s one of my favorite books of recent years - a sort of cross between Doyle, Stoker, Wilkie Collins and Drood-era Dickens.
Am I the only one who’d like to see Carrie Mathison go up against Loki?
This does not sound like it has a premise that can be dragged out into a series. A movie, sure, but not a series.
Yeah now they're all just consistently working in high profile film and TV gigs give or take a slight pandemic lull. Must be hell.
Yeah, you could pretty much guess what scenes Turner would be talking about the moment you saw that headline.
I wonder if the fact that Black House essentially retcons the entire Talisman series as an appendage of The Dark Tower series is going to make it harder to adapt. There’s literally a chapter that serves no other purpose than being “Dark Tower for Dummies”
Rage, about the kid who takes his high school class hostage, is the one King wanted pulled.
It was Rage the one he asked not to be reprinted, mostly because it appeared as reading material of different perpetrators of school shootings. I cannot blame him.
I’m almost sure that King has tried to not allow Roadwork to be reprinted. I might be misremembering. Such a thing wouldn’t be hard for him to do for the individual novel (it was never much of a seller until the Bachman thing became common knowledge) - but I’m pretty sure the Bachman Books collection is still in…
If you’ve only seen the first two episodes of the newer Stand, you’re better off for it. I slogged through that whole thing, and I think it killed part of my brain.
The think that really creeped me out was when I realised they didn’t stop to sleep and kept walking while definitely not awake ... somehow. That plus question as to why they all competed and why there was even a waitlist. I remember the prize but still!
The Duffer Brothers are set to develop it as a series at Netflix, following the conclusion of Stranger Things
REVIVAL is very, very good. I’ve never read The Talisman but BLACK HOUSE is incredible - especially in how it deals with the main character coming to terms with the weird experience of his youth and how it’s returned to affect his adult life.
The Long Walk is on my list of “Adaptations I really, REALLY want to be made.” I hope it gets something great sometime soon. I hope everything on my list does, but some of them are long shots...the joys of nerd-dom, I guess. You never know!
Eyes of the Dragon would be my number one, surprised it didn’t make this list. Way too many books that have already been adapted on this list, there is no need for another Dead Zone when the 1983 version is perfectly awesome.
Definitely The Dark Tower and The Talisman, both of them deserve to have a multi season series. Maybe use Insomnia as a spinoff of TDK since it ties in but isn’t strong enough to stand on its own imho.
QAnon is missing a goldmine. Instead of going after Hollywood celebrities and liberal politicians, try going after the ACTUAL pedophiles/creeps in the GOP! It’s right under their noses.
