Maybe you mean Lonesome Dove the TV series. Or one of the sequels. The original Lonesome Dove miniseries IMO is one of the best western things ever 

The trailer looks like Open Range crossed with Lonesome Dove, except not good

I actually found the resolution of the Helix finale rushed but somewhat satisfying, especially because Dr Alan got screwed over 

The gunfights in Open Range were just brilliantly staged, I don’t even know what else to compare them to

Dances with Wolves was ambitious & had a good cast but was a bit of a mess & I agree Costner kind of the weak link

It is hard for me to pick a best season of Stargirl too, really they are all about equally great. I have a soft spot for s1 since it was the one that most focused on Courtney & Pat becoming father & daughter.

Flash s1, Stargirl s1, Supergirl s4, Arrow s2, and most of Legends of Tomorrow’s run are peak superhero TV for me
