Another nice touch is that the only person who wanted to keep Rambis on the roster was Pat Riley, who was right that he offered toughness and dirty work and would contribute to winning (as Riley himself had as a reserve on the Wilt-West Lakers team). But that’s not why Westhead kept Rambis, he did it to piss off West

I love both Kaley Cuoco and Margot Robbie in the role, but it is impossible to imagine their performances without what Arleen Sorkin brought to Harley as a foundation. RIP

Are there other episodes of the show that the four main cast members don’t appear in? That is my only problem with this episode, other than how overwhemingly sad it is in establishing Maximum’s alienation & perhaps mental illness

He was really good in Dead to Me, but his weird version of himself on Jury Duty was something else

The story was memorable and yet since nothing interesting actually happens it would seem to somewhat defy adaptation

But I’m a Cheerleader was so far ahead of its time that I think we still haven’t caught up to it

Leah Lewis was so charming and real in The Half of It & a very different performance from the feisty George on Nancy Drew

A show that defied expectations and logic, but for the most part in a way that I respect and will miss. It was not a great show but it had incredible elements and was fully committed to being itself. The cast was iconic & the people who did the sets, costumes, and cinematography are exceptionally talented & I hope are

It is such an inconsistent and tonally wild show, but I have loved every single storyline with Cheryl that leans into gothic horror

Tennant as Ten is not my favorite doctor performance, but I do respect him for his commitment to my favorite show & taking it to new & virtually undreamed of heights of international popularity

CW shows like Riverdale only were ever viable because they streamed on Netflix too

As derivative as Riverdale seemed, it always marched to the beat of its own insane drummer. It is like the weird building in Ghostbusters. “They don’t make ‘em like that any more.” “No! They never made them like this!”

The coach of the 1981 Celtics that won the championship was Bill Fitch, who quit a couple years later in an apparent dispute with ownership to be replaced by KC Jones. Both of those coaches probably felt somewhat overshadowed by Red Auerbach, and were, so the show is not totally off base in ignoring them, since Red

Happy that we got two scenes of  Jerry West blowing up at Westhead being an arrogant dolt this episode, and ominously for Westhead he is also pissing off GM Bill Sharman and assistant coach Pat Riley & Buss is skeptical

I really like Kristen Schaal as the guide & increasingly I am less offended by how the show is barely using her than just puzzled as to why they wanted to make her a regular cast member this season if they weren’t going to involve her in the stories more than this

Look, nobody is saying that Barbara Walters wasn’t a b*tch

A textbook example of elder abuse! When an old person beats your ass.

Michael Cera considering the job is agent is doing representing him

Willie Jack was so funny in this episode. So same as always I guess

The chemistry between Meryl Streep and Martin Short is ... interesting. Not sure I really feel it. They are both predictably fantastic of course
