As Harbinger of Impending Doom speeches go those are pretty good, though for me the movie that has the most fun with those is the original Predator

The ignominious summer burnoff of the final season of Riverdale has at least provided Morning Spoilers with some material.

The guy from the Saw movies has some fucking issues 

Why would you trust Lena Dunham with that movie? Greta Gerwig at least knows what she is doing

I was most surprised by how forgettable a killer giant shark movie with Jason Statham was 

Gravik seems unbothered that he is proving everyone who feared and distrusted skrulls right 

This season of Riverdale is extremely underwhelming, but at least it got Cheryl and Toni back together, AND has kept some of the show’s other annoying couples apart 

Yeah, I would have liked Crimson Peak better if it actually were the  haunted house movie the promotional material made it look like

I think the movie The Legend of Hell House is quite decent, but the book is one of the greatest, scariest horror novels ever written

The annoying thing about Crimson Peak is that the haunted house stuff all ended up being misdirection 

The Ghost and Mr Chicken was my favorite movie when I was eight years old

That Nancy Drew synopsis is terrible, nothing about the mystery and just random hints about characters being shaken or upset. Soap-opera level stuff, the show’s final season deserves better promotion than that

I think that would make sense for it to be shorter. What I don’t like is when they pad it out with indie horror movies that I am never going to watch or hear of ever again.
