2 Tango 2 Cash
2 Tango 2 Cash
I really like how they have subverted that & Lottie is not exactly the big bad, if anything she is trying to avoid that it seems
I have not watched any of this season of The Flash, as much as I used to enjoy this show. I guess I will watch the finale though
Too much to hope the Flash finale didn’t include any evil speedsters & maybe a karaoke outing and a visit from Supergirl I guess
Iain De Caestecker as Arthur is interesting casting. Missed opportunity to cast Elizabeth Henstridge as Guinevere, maybe Clark Gregg as Merlin, Brett Dalton as Mordred
It really felt to me that Jack was not so much an evil lesbian (she was barely coded that way) as an evil, manipulative capitalist and using an employee for sex was just another form of entitlement and exploitation for her.
The entire movie Barbarella was seemingly set up to sexually harass her, but she was married to the director at the time so maybe that doesn’t count
Well I’m not sure anything is as weird as Riverdale, but the CW Nancy Drew definitely gave it a run for its weird money
It’s just a theory but I think it fits with what we have seen
The ghost haunting Nancy was in the pilot, but I agree the show really took off when it embraced the supernatural stuff AND had the characters 100% buy into it as well
The CW Nancy Drew has not been afraid to be goofy and weird as well as scary & I feel like it has paid off nicely
Theory: I also think Ben (and the others) is affected by mercury poisoning from a likely secret mine in the area. The disoriented bear that Lottie killed with a knife last season likely was as well
The actual election and vote counting process is surprisingly durable and effective, despite MAGA Republicans striving to undermine it
Wow, not cool. I always pulled for Becky Hammon too & thought she deserved a shot at a NBA head coaching job. I guess she is cut-throat and abusive enough to fit in there too
It is easier to fire the coach than figure out how to get Embiid and Harden to actually produce in the clutch I guess
Coach Ben on Yellowjackets was the level headed one to start with so I guess you knew he was going to descend into madness eventually. Does he do a heel turn, or just become a victim?
I am going to miss this crazy iteration of Nancy Drew. My favorite thing is when various ghosts (the ghost waitress, dead Lucy, the Agleaca) end up joining the team.
Loved those bits though the funniest thing in this episode hands down was Jade asking Nate if he wanted to help her Polish family screw in lightbulbs & then asking straightfaced why he thought that was funny.
I have generally not minded the longer episode running times this season, but I thought this one dragged and at the mid point I was not enjoying *any* of the storylines. I did like how things resolved though, especially with Rebecca and Keeley’s stories, and to a lesser extent with Nate’s.
I tend to agree that Concrete Island and High Rise are Ballard’s best novels, but Crash is really unique and interesting and haunting and so are The Drowned World and The Crystal World
