I liked it but it was perhaps not the greatest

Shauna was definitely the one who led the pro-cannibalism movement, to my surprise, even arguing that “she wants us to.” One online review  I read thought she meant that her baby wanted them to eat Jackie. But I took it that she was telling them that Jackie herself wanted them to eat her. Which I find very doubtful,

I just really, really don’t want them to eat a baby & it is difficult for me to believe the show will go there. We’ll see

I love her as the “sweet as pie” Megan in But I’m a Cheerleader but that definitely was casting against type for her

I don’t know if I would describe her as “masculine,” though her appeal is definitely complex & unconventional, with her being tough but vulnerable, sexy but funny

Buzz, buzz

My bet is the baby ends up getting stolen somehow & turns up in the present day, possibly as part of Lottie’s cult

I don’t think Misty at this juncture would risk angering the other Yellowjackets by doing that

Cybill Shepard is cool, but I do respect the resilience and charm of Jennifer Aniston

Also I’m pretty sure Tai intentionally broke Ali’s leg in s1. I mean, she said she was going to & I thought her denials afterward that it was intentional were very weak

Yes exactly, Tai I think was pretty definitely planning to silence any of the survivors that talked. I am not totally sure she is not on the way to being integrated with her “dark half” persona to the point they are one and the same. Or her dark half is trying to kill herself, to save the others from Taissa!

I mean, I don’t know her medical history

The Paramount+ with Showtime combo I believe was $10/month when I paid for a year up front

Taissa in particular seems really, really dangerous in a way that I don’t think I have fully come to terms with. Why did she hire that fake journalist last year (which her friends still don’t know about) to needlessly poke at her friends & their secrets, ultimately getting her killed by having her threaten Misty,

Let Gwynneth Paltrow’s rampage of ski slope terror continue, present beware, and future beware!

Honestly I might take Jennifer Aniston, who is kind of slumming in this, over Cybill Shepard

They had a nacho crunch taco for a while that was one of my favorite things of theirs ever, very nicely balanced

I watched this episode late last night right after it dropped, so probably need to rewatch it. Is it weird that I am getting more frightened of Taissa and Shauna, and less scared of the more overtly violent and hostile Natalie and Misty.

I appreciate the legal caution that would lead you to refer to Lottie on Yellowjackets as an “alleged cult leader,” but in one episode of the new season we have already seen her cult in operation and her leading it

Krysten Ritter knows you have to walk away from your past in slow motion while it explodes behind you like in a John Woo movie
