The weird thing about facial recognition is that we have it in the casinos here in Nevada where I live and the software recognized people who were “86’d” from the property immediately as soon as they crossed the threshold into the property. It din’t matter what their facial expression was when their photo was entered…

The nice lady at the Nevada DMV who took my picture let me smile and take a re-do (OK three), and a slight head tilt. I think she was bored that day and on the way to retirement, but my picture is awesome! When I have to show it I get compliments and asked why their picture looks like a mug shot.
