Are you and Dennis having a word count contest?

Lebowski has got to be WAY up there.

I’m reminded of the Hitchiker’s Guide to the Galaxy and its mention of a prize given to “The most gratuitous use of the word ‘Belgium’ in a serious screenplay” (“Belgium” by an odd coincidence was a profanity in galactic culture)

“Biweekly” is only ambiguous if one is a cretinous heathen who conflates “semi-” and “bi-” as prefixes. THIS IS MY HILL AND I WILL DIE ON IT.

The dude made an entire documentary on heckling just so he could harass people who didn’t like Son of the Mask.

It’s when Cassandra and Roland spot Mary at Planned Parenthood, and Cassandra says, “There’s only one reason a Christian girl would visit Planned Parenthood.”

Kingdom of the Crystal Skull might be the worst thing Lucasfilm put out post-1998. Say what you will about the Star Wars prequels, but at least people remember and care about them... Consider it a fair warning, now you don’t risk being unexpectedly exposed to Logan Paul

i hadn’t until you mentioned it, and now i’m sad...

Interesting theory. He was certainly clever enough.

Jack Black, himself: famously an obsessive and reckless depression-era filmmaker.

King Kong is the rare Vanity Blockbuster. A vanity picture is when a director/actor/producer/writer/whoever uses their own clout/money/leverage to get a film made because it’s what they care about/want to make. The economics are secondary to the creator.

Why on Earth would I care if a movie is economically responsible?
