I grew up just blocks away from where a civil war prison camp for captured confederate soldiers was. Ohio was a blue state up until...maybe 2000? Maybe 2004? Nothing but crazy GOPers now. I don’t know how my family deals with it, but luckily, I don’t tend to talk politics with family still in-state.

That is an amazing collage of film pics, and I never realized that was one of Ford’s signature moves. That it’s been incorporated into so many of the movies he’s been in is kinda unreal. 

That entire scene is classic.

I live in upstate NY, and nothing pisses me off more than when I see some jacked up SUV or truck with a confederate flag decal. Just because it’s rural doesn’t mean you need to play the part of local redneck/dick.

Clearly Nathan Rabin needs to go to one of these events and give us a detailed article about it. He has the experience.

“Confederate EDM” reminds me of when I lived in Savannah, GA five years ago. Didn’t have a name for it then, but I do now. JFC.

I grew up in Columbus, OH, and even the southern parts of town were...just a bit redneck. I finally figured out in the mid-90's (college years) that if you stayed inside I-270 you were gonna be ok for the most part. Stray outside? Roll the dice on the people you’re gonna be dealing with.

I never realized that Wood was that short, and that Conan was that tall until they’re both peering out the door and Conan looks like a giant, towering over Wood. Such a weird thing to see, and I know the camera angle played into it a bit, but it added to the hilarity of the entire situation. 

The Tomb Raider one is perfection. Watching Lara die again and again is pure comedy gold.

That line about Buffalo always kills me. One of my cooks was from Buffalo, and he brought it up -all- the time. I was finally like, “I’m from Columbus fucking Ohio, and I never bring that up”.

In regards to #2, Andy really is the best sidekick since Ed. And it’s a disgrace that his two shows didn’t take off like they should have. His guest shows on Arrested Development were great. Who knows what the new Conan show will be, but I’d be perfectly happy to see Richter behind a desk (or just in a chair, as Conan…

When Bill Hader was on, and Paul Rudd showed up, I knew it was going to happen but I was still laughing. Even the second time he showed the clip.

Holy. Crap. I don’t know anything about Dynasty Warriors but this is for sure on my list now. Exactly the kind of over the top action movie I need during the summer of no cinema (again, because it’s bad enough I’m a chef and around way too many people as it is).

Literally came here to say the same thing. I honestly didn’t realize Netflix still had it (well, until July). It’s definitely re-watchable, and I kinda categorize it with It Follows, and while they are clearly not anywhere near the same, it’s a slow buildup for both.

Wasn’t this an episode of Entourage?
