I can’t say I’ve seen M&C since my on the road work days in 2007-2009, but I grew up watching all the swashbuckling sea films with Errol Flynn and whatnot, and it was awesome. I honestly don’t remember a damn thing about it, but I know that whenever I would get back from work and plop down on the hotel bed and find

I love commenting on articles from a decade ago. That said, it was nice seeing comments from folk that aren’t around anymore (at least under their previous avatar names...ZODIAC MOTHERFUCKER I’m looking at you).

That Bronson Pinchot RR is and always will be a classic. He did not hold back and was very unapologetic about it the entire time. I’m surprised I don’t have it bookmarked because it’s a fun read every year or so.

It still amazes me that this was a date night movie for my gf and myself. We were young and stupid and would go see any crap in the cinema. Batman & Robin? Check that box. The Saint? Hell yes. I’m fairly certain that we decided to see The Rainmaker because everyone in our extended families was reading Grisham at the

I’ve mentioned this in other posts, but Brian Kemp is an absolute asshole. He dined in my restaurant in Savannah, GA back in 2012 with his family. $90 tab, and tipped only $10 with a photo of him and his family on the WH lawn when W was president. My server was crushed, because she was sure that she would make bank

Missionary and in the dark is no way to go through life, son.”

This might need to be the final season for Archer. I’ve stuck with it, even through the Dreamland seasons, because it’s comfort TV at this point. But not having Jessica Walter anymore is off-putting. Archer may have been the “star”, but she was always the heart of the show. I’m gonna watch it forever, just like R&M

I still love the fact that I have no idea who Rachel Bilson is. I watched the CW enough in the 00's, pretty sure I should know who she is. No clue. She could be a Kardashian for all I care, because seriously:  Who gives a fuck??

And speaking up is met with a “you should be happy to have a job” mentality.”

My first memory of Spade was when he did MTV’s stand-up comedy show in the early 90's. It was not good, and then all of the sudden he was on SNL and his best friend was Chris Farley. I appreciate the fact that he’s made a living off of low-brow humor, but that’s a pretty low bar.

I don’t re-watch Heat but every five years or so, but it remains one of my favorite films. Absolutely perfect cast (aside from Amy Brenneman, who I cannot stand), the script is amazing, and the bank scene is a classic for all times. Val Kilmer is the right fit between Pacino and deNiro.

I cannot like this enough. Thank you.

I honestly thought David Warner was passed. His role in Time Bandits is still incredible. He’s such an overlooked actor. Terry Gilliam needs to go back to the good stuff and put him in.

Thanks for the Julie Delpy reminder. And yes, it hits me dead center in that “Francophile/Cinephile’s fantasy Venn Diagram”. I’ve been in mad love with both of them since I was a teen (Pfeiffer as well, obviously) and it’s insane how they all just get hotter the older they get.

Juliette Binoche seems to be in the realm of Michelle Pfeiffer, where she just gets more attractive the older she gets. I know, this is sexist, ageist, blah blah blah. Cannot deny the facts though.

I’m still surprised I liked Nightcrawler. It’s also completely unmemorable. And I still have no idea why it’s still on my Netflix watch list. I have still not watched Joker, and oddly, I don’t think I’m going to anytime soon. Unless it’s a WW film, I have lost complete interest in any DC movie. The Superman and Batman

That would be the one. I read The Silence of the Lambs but not Hannibal. I can’t say anything about the latter, but the former was really translated quite well to the screen. I also realized after reading TSotL that I was kinda done with Harris. It’s like Steven King for me anymore:  I just stick to his short story

I’ve always felt that the smart ones in Hollywood, once they find that one hit vehicle for their careers, started branching out into what they really wanted to do in the first place. Or at least, their hobbies or whatnot. Do the work, make the money, and sit on residuals forever. Aside from the recent seasons, you

He just seems like an entitled prat for no real reason. I watched his “car karaoke” with Paul McCartney several years back and I’m pretty sure his nose was black by the end of it. As for the Friends (apparent) backlash, all I know is that I was the right demographic when it first started (late teens/early 20's) and I

That was his -arm- he was gnawing on??
