I have no idea why I remember that, and thank you.

Wow, that’s going deep there. And it’s crazy how many names were involved in that garbage heap of network TV. Lou Gossett Jr, Harve Bennett...the list really does go on, and it’s apparently up there with the worst TV shows ever.
There is nothing about this character that makes want to like them.
You should probably check out the original 90210. Just for kicks.
I feel like Vindicators could work, but by adding in all the characters that were mentioned in the episode. That it would take them a year to resolve whatever crisis vs Rick just doing it in a few hours would also be good.
I was still -kinda- living in DC when this hit the news, and I’m surprised I forgot about it entirely. I work in the restaurant industry, and we get away with A LOT. It’s not police or military, but geez, it’s insane the drug and alcohol abuse that goes on...when on the job. And don’t get me started about the sales…
I cannot like this enough, and would probably get me to re-watch ATHF. And I also can’t believe this hasn’t been done yet. If they could get the original roster of guests from Space Ghost (imagine Carl interviewing Bjork or Thom Yorke) in the exact same order as they appeared...Like, seriously, this needs to be done.…
Didn’t we get a film about Catherine the Great already?
Perhaps a movie about jockeys? I’ve worked Belmont and Saratoga for several years and the jockeys are far more interesting than the damn horses. Hell, the trainers (not owners) are also characters in their own right.
Both of their current and past column series are always great. I’m always pissed when I take a few days off from the AVC and end up missing one of their new articles. I’m furloughed yet again because COVID, and yet again I’m having a hard time keeping track of time, let alone days.
I’d never seen this before, and while it’s nothing new, how he goes about it is perfect.
I was supposed to drive from OH to Pittsburgh for the weekend, and my buddy I was going to stay with called me at like 7 p.m. and said, “I just watched Go with Leslie and we’re on our way to Atlantic City”.
I love Oswalt’s comedy, but I’ll never understand the passion for this series. I’ve always been a -mild- follower of comics, but if it weren’t for a friend sending me a copy of nextwave I never would have known about MODOK. The fact that this even got greenlighted says either a lot about Oswalt’s sway these days, or…
I find it amazing that MGM is still around. They keep on selling off bits and pieces of their inventory yet still keep on existing. How do you keep on making Bond films that make over a billion dollars yet keep running your company into the ground nearly every decade??
I’m thinking the real question should be, What happened to Bonnie Hunt?
It’s like waiting for a new season of the Venture Bros.
I’m sure Antiques Roadshow has a few questions.
Dowd is pretty reliable, and aside from whenever I.V. or Jesse pop up for a review, it’s always a good time. Even if the movie is shite, the review is not. And I think the core belief is that if it’s a bad film, I.V. should be the one reviewing it. His takedowns are Sean O’Neal level, easily.
The Comeback Show from (I think) 1968 is still a classic. Elvis and his crew just nailed it perfectly. There’s a reason Elvis is still a presence: Swagger, charisma, and that voice.
I grew up in the ‘80s and ‘90s as well, and Elvis was everywhere. One of my favorite albums was one of his when it was just early demos at Sun Studios. 50 million fans can’t be wrong, lol.
