That photo still screams at me how desperate DC is to be “edgy” and “push the limits”. And really, just knock it off. DC needs to go back to the original Burton Batman, think about it, compare it with the Nolan trilogy, and find a much, much better way to figure out where they want their movies to go. Because it is

Ya can’t fix stupid.

Eh, I have found that Davies is either entirely on or just bland in the last few series. I think it’s one of the “P” or “Q” series where he just loses his shit for a solid 3-4 minutes is one of the funniest things I’ve seen.

I stumbled across that clip on YT last year and it’s a classic. Thanks for finding it.

I have always wanted to have a version where it’s Cohen doing Jeff Buckley’s cover. I have a feeling it would either be phenomenal or the worst thing ever. Sadly the world will never know.

I used to love how I’d get all kinds of random recommendations from Netflix, yet in the last five years they’ve gone to shambles. Like you, I never heard of this before and never saw it promoted at all. I used to get suggestions on my page for lots of random foreign films, now nothing at all. Hey, Netflix: Just

I don’t like this in many ways. I never knew this happened, I’m sorry it happened, I don’t know who this guy is, and I really, really don’t care about Kim Kardashian.

Hell, I didn’t even know about Klaus Nomi before this show.”

I’m still waiting for Ray Fisher to drop off the map.

I didn’t realize HAIM were still an ongoing...thing?

I started watching Q.I. for the first time over the spring/summer quarantine, and Acaster was easily one of the better occasional panelists that was on from time to time over series N-R. He just came across as not giving a flying fuck and let it all out. If Alan Davies gives up his seat, I definitely wouldn’t mind

I had the great pleasure of living in DC for about 3 years and amazes me to this day that it is just a “district”. Taxation without Representation is crazy, especially in the Capitol of the US. I love DC and the people, and would move back in a heartbeat if I was able to get a job there.

you should see what these people ended up doing to Skyrim”

Wow. Lord British. Is he still around? I remember the only reason I regretted going with Sega rather than Nintendo was that the latter got a version of Ultima III that was supposed to be pretty good (my memory is a bit fuzzy as to how accurate this is).

That is one of those bizarre facts that I also didn’t realize until David Lander died last month. I always thought that it was an entirely 1970's production. I blame it on the MASH/Happy Days syndrome, where they were on so long that I was watching re-runs in syndication while there were still new episodes and seasons

lol “pump”.

You do know that you can stream a ton of AS shows online without having HBOmax on the AS website, right?

Too Soon!!

I’m “sensitive”.

Thanks dad. I got all the references (and pretty much all of them in the Venture Bros) in that episode, but thanks for over explaining it all.
